Winspear Operahouse
The Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House is an opera house (one of four venues in the AT&T Performing Arts Center) located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, Texas. The facility is the home of The Dallas Opera and the Texas Ballet Theater. The AT&T Performing Arts Center also produces original programming and partners with local and national organizations to present a wide range of other cultural performances at the venue. These offerings include music, dance, Broadway shows, concerts and lectures.
Myerson Symphony
The Meyerson, designed by winning architect I.M. Pei, is located in the Downtown Dallas Arts District and is home to the world-class Dallas Symphony Orchestra and other Dallas-based cultural organizations like the Turtle Creek Chorale, the Dallas Wind Symphony, and the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra.
Nasher Sculpture Garden
Architect Renzo Piano designed this more than 10,000 square feet of indoor gallery space, and the one and a half-acre sculpture garden that is designed to frame outdoor works. More than 170 trees, including cedar elms, live oaks, crepe myrtles, weeping willows, and magnolias, together with stone pathways, pools, and fountains, define intimate landscapes for quiet reflection and contemplation of works, and create a verdant oasis in downtown Dallas.
Ranger's Stadium

Big Tex is the 52 foot tall icon of the annual State Fair of Texas held at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. He wears size 70 boots, a 75 gallon hat, a size 100 180/181 shirt and 284W/185L XXXXXL pair of Dickies jeans. Big Tex has presided over every State Fair of Texas since 1952.
Calatrava Bridge
The under construction structure will be located between the Continental Avenue and Union Pacific Railroad bridges, and will link West Dallas and North Oak Cliff with downtown Dallas. World-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava is designing the bridge.
Trammel Crow Museum of Asian Art

Klyde Warren Park
Currently under construction, the Klye Warren five acre park of public green space is located in the heart of Dallas.There will be a 15’ wide path shaded by Pond Cypress trees down the center of the park connecting areas such as the Children’s Garden, the Botanical Garden, Reading and Games Courtyard, open garden Pavilion Restaurant, Muse Family Performance Stage, the east lawn for park activities and events. The Icon Fountain, a signature feature of the Park has various cascading water compositions. Completion date is the Fall of 2012.
Museum Tower
The Museum Tower is a luxury high rise of 42 stories designed by world-renown architect Scott Johnson. The 122 residences are located in downtown Dallas’ cultural district surrounded by the Morton H. Myerson Symphony Center, the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Winspear Opera house and fronting the proposed Woodall Rodgers Park. Museum Tower is a contemporary masterpiece of urban living that is coveted for its irreplaceable location, its inspiring architecture, its wide array of refined luxuries and its profound connection to all things cultural. Completion scheduled for Spring, 2013.
Omni Hotel-Dallas
The new Omni Dallas Hotel, located in downtown Dallas and connected via sky bridge to the Dallas Convention Center is the newest and much needed convention-convenient hotel. In addition to numerous meeting rooms and an outstanding "sports bar" one can enjoy the biggest commercial art gallery in North Texas and most of the 6,700 are works for sale. A visitor to the Omni will be close to restaurants, shops, entertainment and more!
Perot Museum
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science was designed by 2005 Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate Thom Mayne and has been named in honor of Margot and Ross Perot. Located just north of downtown Dallas on a 4.7 acre site, this 180,000 sq ft museum features five floors of public space with 11 permanent exhibit halls. Its mission is to “inspire minds through nature and science” and fully embraces the natural world and the manmade world, focusing on earth and space sciences, life and natural sciences, chemistry, physical sciences and engineering. The building demonstrates scientific principles and is used as a teaching tool that provides “living” examples of engineering, sustainability and technology at work.
